Wines/Italy/Sicily/Puleo

conventional

Sicily, the crossroads of the Mediterranean for millenia, has had vines under cultivation for some 3,000 years.  Here on the southwest coast of the island, Azienda Puleo produces wines from both ancient and more modern grape varieties, true to Sicily’s heritage as a melting pot of Mediterranean traditions.

Winemaking is overseen by Davide Puleo, and the estate produces both reds and whites from indigenous varieties such as Cattaratto, Nero d’Avola and Nerello Mascalese, as well as more recent arrivals such as Syrah and Chardonnay.  Each Puleo wine is a window into Sicily- the sun, the soil, the history and the rhythms of the Mediterranean.
