Wines / Chile / Colchagua / Vina Maquis

organic

The Maquis Estate is located in the heart of the Colchagua Valley where the Tinguiririca River meets the Chimbarongo Creek. This unique peninsular location has alluvial soils over a layer of gravel and cooler maximum summer temperatures.

These distinctive attributes differentiate Maquis from wines in the rest of Colchagua Valley.

Here, over the last few decades, the Hurtado Family have replanted 140 hectares with Cabernet Franc, Carménère, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. All Maquis vineyards are organically farmed.
