Georges Laval

Champagne Georges Laval is one of the finest micro-growers in the world of Champagne.  Vincent Laval is a true artist, producing wines from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier from the tiny village of Cumieres on the Montagne de Reims, just above the Vallee de la Marne.

Vincent has been growing his vines and doing his vineyard work organically since the mid 1970’s, even going to the extent of farming several rows of this neighbor’s grapes organically to prevent any overspray onto his own vineyards.  His wines are superb, crystalline expressions of the very best that Champagne can produce, and typically bottled with ZERO dosage to better express the fruit and the terroir.
