Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot
92 Pts. (2008, Descorchados Chilean Wine Guide 2012)
In the high Cachapoal, almost 3300 ft above sea level with cold climate conditions, natural constant ventilation, provides a refreshed environment to the Santa Cruz de Coya estate. These natural weather conditions allow slow maturity that favors the development of the vine, resulting in exceptional wine grapes, delivering a unique fruit that reflects both, the terroir and ecosystem in which it is located.
A barrel selection aged for 26 months in first use French oak, with a similar structure of the other reds of the house. A firm acidity pursues the freshness of this blend that has a generous depth and a slightly sweet finish.
