grand reserve assemblage
Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon.
In the high Cachapoal, almost 3300 ft above sea level with cold climate conditions, natural constant ventilation, provides a refreshed environment to the Santa Cruz de Coya estate. These natural weather conditions allow slow maturity that favors the development of the vine, resulting in exceptional wine grapes, delivering a unique fruit that reflects both, the terroir and ecosystem in which it is located.
In this blend the “main characters” are the Merlot and the Syrah, bringing meaty notes, black ripe fruits and voluptuous personality. This open assemblage has a firm nerve and balanced acidity. 3500 bottles aged for 26 months in French oak barrels.
Ageing estimation: 10 years
